Step 1: Choose an inconspicuous area

Start by selecting a small, discreet area on your body, such as the inside of your forearm or behind your ear. Choosing a relatively protected spot is crucial, not a place where you frequently experience sensitivities or irritations.

Step 2: Cleanse the area

Apply a small amount of lightening cream or serum to the cleansed skin patch using a cotton swab or a clean finger. Ensure to spread it evenly and avoid overlapping with untreated skin.

Step 4: Observe and wait

Allow the product to sit on your skin undisturbed for 24 to 48 hours. During this period, observe any signs of redness, itching, swelling, or discomfort associated with an allergic reaction. However please note often when using new products there may be a different sensation on the skin such as tingling, as the skin needs to adapt to new ingredients and formulas.

Step 5: Analyse the results

After the specified time has passed, thoroughly inspect the test area. On the other hand, if no adverse reaction occurs, the lightening products are likely safe for use.
